All registered food facilities located outside of the U.S. must designate a U.S. Agent, a representative located in the U.S. who is available 24 hours a day to answer FDA’s questions about your company’s shipments and assist in organizing food facility inspections.
To communicate with overseas businesses, the FDA uses US Agent as a point of contact. FDA will approach a US Agent to get in touch with the foreign company if it is unable to reach the foreign company directly. US agents must certify that they represent your company as a US Agent before the initial registration number is given.
We provide US Agent services and promptly confirm US Agent appointments. If you sign a two-year contract, our charge is reduced to $ 250 per year from our standard yearly fee of $299 for US Agent services. We can provide a discounted rate if you have multiple facilities; please get in touch with us for more details.
